Deputy director Liu Kejia meets with business consul of Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu

Liu Kejia, a member of the Party committee and deputy director of the Chongqing Health Commission, met with Yair Albin, business consul of Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu, on Dec 13, 2017, and the two sides exchanged views on cooperation in healthcare and emergency medical treatment.
Liu welcomed Albin's visit and spoke highly of Israel's achievements in technological innovation and health emergency response. He explained the general situation of Chongqing's health work and health emergency system and capacity, as well as the city's engagement in international and domestic major natural disaster medical rescue work.
Liu said Chongqing hopes to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Israel on health emergency response, rehabilitation, and prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
Albin proposed that Chongqing should look at the results of a health emergency pilot project in Yangzhou city, Jiangsu province, and suggested the two sides further talk about topics of common interest at a Sino-Israel health forum held in Chengdu in 2018.
Relevant personnel from the commission's international cooperation office and emergency office and of the Chongqing municipal emergency medical center attended the meeting.
