Pear blossom festival kicks off in Xishan

The 12th Wanshan Lake Pear Blossom Festival was held at the Wanshan Lake Wetland Park in Xishan district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on March 29.

The festival will run until April 5 and consists of two other venues in the Pear Orchard in Yanjia village and Qianshi Garden in Xiedaidang village.
Six travel routes tailored for spring were unveiled at the launch ceremony to allow visitors to experience farming culture and local customs, as well as enjoy vast stretches of various flowers and local delicacies.

Festival-goers also showed interest in the local farm products on display at the ceremony, including gorgon fruit, rice, and organic vegetables, as well as popsicle sticks featuring residences and bridges in Xishan.
