Three towns in Wuxi were selected as the second batch of key rural tourism villages in Jiangsu province in 2021, according to a list recently released by the provincial culture and tourism bureau.

They are Yangshan town in Wuxi's Huishan district, Zhangyang town in Yixing's Hufu village, and Hengshan town in Yixing's Xizhu village.

Located in western Wuxi, Yangshan is the main production area of the Yangshan Honey Peach, a special variety of peach that is famous throughout the country and has given Yangshan a unique peach culture.

Yangshan is also a model for high-efficiency agriculture in Wuxi. Its locally produced honey peaches enjoy a reputation as one of the tastiest fruits in East China and bring in a sufficient income for local farmers.
