Zhuhai –China The WTA Elite Trophy, Zhuhai announced today that China’s national hero, Li Na, has been appointed as the Tournament Ambassador of the event for 2015.
The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) announced on October 8, 2014 that Zhuhai, China will host a new event – WTA Elite Trophy, which includes singles and doubles with prizes of USD 2.15 million.
On the morning of January 27, 2015, WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai held a press conference in Zhuhai International Convention Center, attended by sports and government officials.
The first edition of WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai, to be presented on November 2, 2015, held a press conference on the progress of the tennis event.
