The 6th China Education Innovation Expo will take place at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center from Nov 18 to 21, according to a press conference held at Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai on Oct 18.

Hosted by the Beijing Normal University and undertaken by the Zhuhai Education Bureau, the expo will focus on the quality and balance of education, modernization of education governance, new curriculum reform, development of teaching staff, digitization of education, and evaluation of education quality.

More than 100 activities and forums will be held during the expo, as well as some 900 achievement workshops. Five exhibition halls will be also set up to showcase over 1,800 exceptional educational innovative products at home and abroad. 

Moreover, more than 1,000 well-known experts, scholars, and educators in the field of education will gather in Zhuhai for the event.

This year's expo will delve deeper into education innovation, showcasing five highlights.

It will focus on the integration of education, sci-tech, and talent, and form a logical structure of "one core, three pillars, and six fields" around the theme of "high-quality development of education."

More than 100 teaching achievements that have received national awards and over 1,000 that have garnered provincial-level awards will participate in the exhibitions. Forums will feature interactive and experiential parts.

Leading enterprises in education informatization have been invited to set up AR/VR and education informatization exhibition areas at the expo and open a high-level forum on education digital transformation.

Sub-brand forums like the National School Principal Forum, Nine Disciplines Forum, and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Forum on High-quality Innovation and Development of Basic Education will be created during the expo.

Beijing Normal University and Zhuhai will carry out regular cooperation in fields like teachers' education, family education, and scientific education to provide support for the high-quality development of Zhuhai and the Greater Bay Area with the high-quality development of education.
