HK entrepreneurs look for investment opportunities in Xiangzhou
As the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) will mark its fifth anniversary on Oct 24, more than 60 representatives of Hong Kong enterprises visited industrial parks in Xiangzhou on Oct 16 for more investment opportunities.
According to Ouyang Zi'an, secretary general of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Commerce Association, the implementation of the "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles" scheme facilitates easier access for Hong Kong residents to enter Guangdong, thereby attracting interest from Hong Kong businessmen who are looking to invest in Zhuhai.
The "Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles" scheme allows private car owners from Hong Kong to drive to Guangdong via HZMB without having to apply for a Chinese mainland private vehicle registration plate.

The latest industrial carrier projects in Xiangzhou were inspected, including the Xiangzhou Chuanggang Center in the Nanping Sci-Tech Ecocity and Gechuang Jicheng in the Sanxi Technology & Innovation City.
Moreover, the Xiangzhou District Investment Promotion Center introduced the district's investment environment, the latest industrial development trends, and investment preferential policies to Hong Kong businessmen.
"It was my first time to Zhuhai, and it took an hour to drive over the bridge. The 'Northbound Travel for Hong Kong Vehicles' scheme makes it so convenient," said Huang Hao-jan, chief executive officer of Hong Kong Fakusi (Hair Transplant and Beauty) Company.
The trip was extremely fruitful and showed him the speed of development in Zhuhai. "I have had the intention of registering a company in Zhuhai Sci-tech Innovation Center," added Huang.
