Zhuhai promotes GBA fair for trade in services in Beijing
The Zhuhai business delegation, led by the city's Vice Mayor Li Chong, is actively participating in the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which opened on Sept 2 in Beijing.
The delegation consists of officials from relevant industrial associations as well as representatives from 17 of Zhuhai's service trade industrial parks and key enterprises.
This year's CIFTIS has a comprehensive exhibition area covering 12 major areas of trade in services, including transportation, travel, construction, insurance services, financial services, telecommunications, computer and information services, and intellectual property.

Since CIFTIS' inception in 2012, the event has attracted over 600,000 businessmen and representatives from more than 600 overseas business associations to attend and seek cooperation opportunities.
The delegation participated in the Guangdong Theme Day event, which was hosted by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province on the same day. Li made a special presentation on the upcoming 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Fair for Trade in Services.
The 2023 GBA Fair for Trade in Services will be held in December at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center, with the primary objective to promote the development, optimization, and enhancement of the trade in service sector. Additionally, It aims to create a new high ground for innovative development in trade in services within the Greater Bay Area.
The conference will showcase the annual achievements of the trade in service sector in the GBA through a combination of forums, exhibitions, and activities.
Covering an exhibition area of 10,000 square meters (2.5 acres), this year's exhibition will adopt a combination of comprehensive and thematic exhibitions. Supporting activities to facilitate business cooperation and market expansion will also take place, including closed-door meetings, service trade lectures, and business matchmaking events.
