Twenty-five key projects recently began construction in the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) in the third quarter.

The projects will cost a combined 45.16 billion yuan ($6.22 billion) and 1.63 billion yuan ($224.64 million) of that will be invested within the current year.

Among the ventures are a dozen industrial projects with a total investment of 21.81 billion yuan ($3 billion). Once completed and operating, they're expected to provide strong support for promoting the development of Tangjiawan's industries.

As a leader in the printed circuit board or PCB field, Shenzhen Edadoc Tech plans to invest 2.5 billion yuan ($343.9 million) to build a research and development, operations, and intelligent manufacturing headquarters in Tangjiawan.

Wang Canzhong, co-founder of Shenzhen Edadoc Tech, said when the company's operations were settling in Zhuhai, the enterprise fully experienced the efficiency and responsibility of the local government departments. 

The 13 government investment-supporting projects include hospitals and kindergartens, which will promote the overall improvement of regional medical and education services.

The Beisha Sansheng Demonstration Industrial Park project has chosen the Beisha Community as a pilot area, focusing on green and environmentally friendly industries. 

It will build an industrial system with new energy storage industries as the main focus, with intelligent grids and new energy vehicle support as supplementary features. It will strive to be an innovative demonstration industrial park that integrates the design concepts of production, living, and ecology. 

Support facilities in the park will include dormitories, neighborhood centers, community parks, and businesses, creating a convenient central living area.

The projects are expected to further accelerate industrial agglomeration and development there, improve the quality of life of workers, as well as add strong impetus to the top-quality development of industries in Zhuhai.
