Hengqin documentary begins shooting
The four-episode documentary Tong Xin (Be of One Heart), which will be jointly presented by Zhuhai Media Group and China Media Group, started shooting in Zhuhai on April 17.
The documentary will focus on the construction of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. It will tell stories of how Hengqin built a new platform to boost Macao's moderately diversified development, created a new living and working space for Macao residents, and became a new highland for the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Zhang Bing, general director of the documentary from China Media Group, noted that constructing Hengqin is a major measure of China in promoting reform and opening-up in the new era. The documentary will showcase Hengqin's development from the perspectives of transportation, construction, people's livelihood, and entrepreneurship.
The director group in Zhuhai reached out to nearly 100 people working, living, or starting up businesses in Hengqin to get primary-source materials, according to executive director, Fu Bing, of Zhuhai Media Group.
Fu added that shooting measures such as aerial photography will be applied to make the documentary artistic.
The documentary has been listed by the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee to receive key priority once completed, which is set to finish filming in September this year.
Of note, the documentary will be aired by the CCTV Documentary Channel, the Zhuhai Broadcast Television Station, and other relevant new media platforms.
