Xiangshan Cloud Walkway begins full operation this spring
This spring, all 11.2 kilometers (7 miles) of the Xiangshan Cloud Walkway in Xiangzhou has opened to the public now that the last 3.85-km (2.36-mile) section, which runs from the east entrance of Dajing Mt to the East Meihua Road Overpass, is operational.
The newly opened section is partially built on Dajing Mt, where visitors can take in views such as the range of Dajing Mt, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and Zhuhai Opera House. Hikers can walk through this section in about 1 hour.
Zhengfang Group, the project's constructor, planted various flowers such as paperflower (bougainvillea spectabilis), Chinese Hibiscus, and giant taro (alocasia macrorrhizos) alongside the walkway to make it more charming.

The entire Xiangshan Cloud Walkway stretches from Xiangshan Lake Park to Jigong Hill near Sea & Sky Park. Four rest stations are scattered alongside the cloud boardwalk, namely Xiangshan Lake, Mountaintop, Huanan Mingyu, and Jingshan stations.
Facilities such as resting pavilions, sightseeing platforms, toilets, vending machines, and trash cans have been set up, along with guide signs and billboards.
The walkway is open from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm daily. Parking spaces are available at the west entrance of Dajing Mt. For visitors coming from the east, they can take buses to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and find the east entrance located near the Meihua East Road Overpass.
