Construction on the projects started on June 20 and innovative technologies and management measures such as the prefabricated technology and building information modeling have been applied in the construction process.
These parks will create the largest industrial 5.0 space project in Zhuhai with the fastest construction speed. The multi-story factories will include large column spaces, finished interiors, and mechanical and electrical equipment installation.
Finished dormitories in the parks feature over 3,100 rooms that have now been equipped with sofas, coffee tables, kitchens, bathrooms, and beds. Supporting facilities such as canteens, industrial service centers, gyms, and laundry rooms have also finished construction.
Huafa New Energy has started the installation of photovoltaic power generation facilities on the roof of these parks, aiming to accelerate their opening.
As of Dec 19, more than 140 enterprises have signed deals to settle in these parks and more than 180 other enterprises have shown interest in settling in. Altogether they are expected to invest over 50 billion yuan ($7 billion) into the parks.
Among these enterprises are specialized, characteristic, and emerging "little giant," "single champion," and "hidden champion" enterprises.
Huafa Group has formed a professional group with more than 200 members to provide services within the parks. They include operation services, integrating financing, marketing, property management, and public services.
A 21,000-sqm (5-acre) canteen is now under construction to meet the dining demands of up to 7,000 people. A CR Vanguard supermarket will offer more than 4,000 categories of goods for employees in the parks once operations commence.
