Special preferential policies supporting the growth of Xiangzhou District's fashion industry are now soliciting public opinion and are expected to boost the high-quality development and increase the overall competitiveness of Xiangzhou's fashion industry.

The policies will support the fashion industry in five major sectors: office rental, fashion design awards, platform construction, business expansion, and organizing major events.

Xianzhou will devote more than 10 million yuan ($1.4 million) annually to developing the local fashion industry, officials announced Dec 10 at a promotion event for the district during the 2022 China Fashion Industrial Design Conference.

The district aims to become a "fashion capital" in three years and will attract powerful fashion enterprises and brands to settle and form a fashion industry cluster with a value of 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion).

Li Zhigang, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Xiangzhou District Committee, noted that Xiangzhou is advantageous in its outstanding environment, preferential policies, and completed supporting facilities. He also stated that the district will continue to boost the development of its fashion industry.
