New domestic products, technologies, and services were on display, fully showcasing China's cutting-edge technologies and innovation breakthroughs in aerospace and national defense. The 1:1 simulated exhibition of China's space station brought by the China Academy of Space Technology was the most popular attraction of this edition of Airshow China.
This year's flight and ground equipment demonstrations had a stronger lineup that involved higher-level specifications. Domestic-made aircraft like the C919 single-aisle passenger airplane and Y-20 large transport aircraft made their first public aerial performances. China North Industries Group Corporation and China South Industries Group Corporation brought more than 30 tanks and armored vehicles, fully displaying their mobility and off-road capability in the 120,000-sqm (30-acre) exhibition area at the Zhuhai International Air Show Center in Jinwan District.
Around 300 kinds of cultural creative products in five categories, including model aircrafts, commemorative badges, and stamp albums, were released at the first-ever Airshow China cultural creative shop.
In addition, attendees praised the exhibition's convenient services, such as adding shading devices and convenient service sites, as well as offering power banks and luggage lockers to visitors.
Of note, it was announced that the 15th Airshow China will take place from Nov 12 to 17, 2024 in Zhuhai.
