Guangdong's celebration of the upcoming 2022 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival is scheduled to take place on Sept 23 in Lianzhou Town of Doumen District, showcasing the latest outcomes of Guangdong's rural reform and vitalization.

The main venue of the event at the Herbal (Baicao) Garden of Lingnan Dadi Ecological Resort will break the boundary between stage and audience, with the immersive stage art design featuring cultural elements of Doumen to display the charms of beautiful villages and modern agriculture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

A theme song of the 2022 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival will debut that day and a brand-new deductive show will be staged, integrating distinctive Guangdong agricultural products into the display of farmlands, orchards, as well as landscapes. 

The main venue will also set up a special area for farmers to demonstrate their cooking skills. In addition, the high-quality agricultural products of 21 municipal-level cities in Guangdong Province will be displayed.

Livestreams on Guangdong agricultural products will start around a week ahead of the event. Various kinds of matchmaking and consumption promotion events will be organized on platforms like Alibaba, JD, Douyin, as well as Kuaishou.
