Zhuhai Hi-Tech Zone promotes industry 5.0 space in Shenzhen
A promotional conference for the 3-million-sq-m (741-acre) industry 5.0 spaces in the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone was successfully held in Shenzhen on Aug 10.
Shenzhen enterprises and talents are welcome to pay on-site visits and seek cooperation opportunities in Zhuhai to integrate innovation resources in the two cities.

Xue Fei, deputy director of the Hi-Tech Zone's administrative committee, introduced the advantages of the zone's industry 5.0 spaces, which are of high quality with affordable rents and well-equipped with supporting facilities and excellent management.
Li Kongyue, a professor of Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a speech during the event, outlining the Hi-Tech Zone's potential development opportunities brought about by the construction of a 100-km (62-mile) "Golden Inner Bay" around the Pearl River Estuary. He added that more economic benefits will be created through connections in industry, supply, and talent chains between Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
A series of new industry 5.0 space projects were signed to settle in the Hi-Tech Zone, including Changyuan Industrial & Electrical Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, Urovo IoT Intelligent Terminal Industrial Base, and the Cmsemicon Mixed Digital & Analog Signal project.
Think tanks run by the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shenzhen Promotion Association for Small & Medium Enterprises and financial institutes of the Summitview Capital Sci-Tech and Guangdong-Macao Semiconductor Fund also signed agreements to cooperate with the Hi-Tech Zone's industry 5.0 space projects and provide support in intelligence and finance.
In addition, outstanding industrial talent such as Li Zhenghua, Deng Jianqin, Wang Chao, and Chen Zhengjian received talent service cards issued by the Hi-Tech Zone.
Four parallel sections, organized by four Zhuhai State-owned enterprises of Huafa and Gree groups, Zhuhai Hi-tech Construction Investment, and Zhuhai Hi-tech Financial Investment respectively, took place to focus on cross-border e-commerce, livestream economy, semiconductors, integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, robotics, biomedicine, medical devices, new energy and intelligent grid. A roadshow for Shenzhen-Zhuhai sci-tech projects was also held.
The Hi-Tech Zone is now moving forward with construction of 10 industry 5.0 space projects, six of which have commenced construction and four are expected to start later this year.
