Trendvision Technology (Zhuhai), one of the 10 biggest ink producers in China, started construction on its new plant on July 18 in Jinwan's Sanzao Town. Once operational in mid-2023, the project will help form a high-end printing equipment industrial cluster in Jinwan.

Located at the intersection of Shier Road and Damen Road, the 10,698-sqm (2.6-acre) Trendvision Sci-tech Innovation Park is constructed by China Railway 18th Bureau Group No 4 Engineering. It will have floorage of 51,401.12 sqm (12.7 acres), of which 997.36 sq m (.25 acres) is underground. The project will include factories, dormitories, fire control rooms, sewage treatment works, warehouses, and security rooms.

Established in 2004, Trendvision Technology (Zhuhai) is dedicated to the research and development, production, as well as management of special compatible ink for inkjet printers, large format photo machines, and digital printing machines. Its factories currently span 15,000 sqm (3.7 acres), with an annual production capacity of 12,000 metric tons.

As of now, installation of temporary facilities for the construction site has been finished, while workers, materials, and mechanical equipment needed in the preliminary-stage construction have been organized, according to project manager Xie Zeyu.
