A 20-year assessment period will be set for the bid winner, as the land lot's operator will promise to contribute over 10 million yuan ($1 billion) in annual import and export trade volume to Hezhou through the first year after the project's operation.
In the second year of the project's operation, the center will have to generate over 20 billion yuan ($3 billion) in import and export trade volume to Hezhou annually, with the number increasing to over 50 billion yuan ($7 billion) starting from the project's third year of operation.

Upon completion, the project will help form China's first cross-border e-commerce industrial cluster with Zhuhai's unique competitive advantages that allow enterprises to sell and return cargo globally.
An official of Hezhou's preparatory group noted that the project will bring more convenience to Hong Kong and Macao residents in terms of e-commerce shopping, as well as inject new vitality into the development of cultural tourism industries in Hengqin and Macao.
