Jinwan land supply favors industry this year
Jinwan District has 71 of the city's 197 State-owned construction land plots to be sold this year, totaling more than 506 hectares (1,250 acres), according to the recently released Zhuhai State-owned Construction Land Supply Plan for 2022.
Notably, 36 of Jinwan's construction land plots are for industrial use, covering more than 360 hectares (889.6 acres) and accounting for more than 70 percent of the district's total land supply. Besides, 13 are designated for road construction, while others are for ports, commercial use, education, housing, cultural facilities, parks, and security housing.

Jinwan has been placing priority on developing industries. The industrial land lots to be transferred are mainly located in the Gaolan Port Integrated Free Trade Zone, Dingjiawan Industrial Zone, New-Materials Industrial Park, and Equipment Manufacturing Area, while eight are in the upcoming Binhai (coastal) Business Area.
To create more space for its industrial development, Jinwan will also improve the inefficient use of lands, dispose vacant lands, and secure the supply of 3,000-mu (494-acre) prepared construction land plots for immediate development.
