Parking Lot 5 at the Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport starts trial operation today, providing 1,430 extra spots to meet up with passengers' needs as Parking Lot 2 has been closed since Dec 27, 2021 due to ongoing airport expansion.

In addition to the 800-space Parking Lot 1, departing passengers can access the new parking lot from the entrance near the intersection of East Jinhai and Jiaofei roads and then walk to the shuttle bus stop for free transit to the airport's Terminal 1. Those arriving at the airport can walk to the first floor of T1 and take the free shuttle bus to Parking Lot 5.

A one-way trip takes seven minutes and the bus leaves every five to 10 minutes. Operation hours run from two hours before the earliest departure flight to one hour after the last arriving flight.
