Now Hi-Tech Zone has added 70 major projects this year
Key projects valued at 3.1 billion yuan ($487 million) contracted to settle in the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) on Dec 22, bringing to 40 billion yuan ($6 billion) the value of 70 new additions this year.
The 70 projects will generate an annual output value of 75 billion yuan ($12 billion). The eight latest additions contribute to leading industrial clusters for semiconductor equipment, biomedical and medical devices, and "smart" manufacturing.
Liando U Valley, headquartered in Beijing, will build a digital manufacturing industrial park. The core enterprise of Liandong Group, Lando U Valley has invested in and operated 350 industrial parks in 73 cities across the country, and introduced more than 13,000 emerging manufacturing companies and technology companies. The enterprise serves emerging industries, promotes development of advanced manufacturing and sci-tech technologies, and has topped the Chart of China's Industrial Park Brand Value for 10 consecutive years.

Urumqi-based Pacific Construction Group, a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, will set up its Southeast Asian headquarters. The group focuses on the investment, construction, and management of infrastructure and includes among its hundreds of members Zhuhai Pacific Road & Bridge Construction in Jingan Town, Doumen.
Guangzhou Zhongxiang Holdings will establish a Hong Kong-Macao-Greater Bay Area headquarters. Zhongxiang Holdings has earned the Golden Prize of National Award for Construction Projects and Tien-yow Jeme Award, which is the highest prize in China for civil engineering projects.
Zhuhai Zhongxucheng Technology plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary and invest 100 million yuan in an R&D headquarters for AI educational equipment. Once operational, annual sales revenue of the Guangdong Leiboshi AI Educational Equipment Headquarters is to reach 200 million yuan ($31 million).
The Hi-Tech Zone has assigned personnel to offer follow-up services for the companies to ensure smooth operations. Entrepreneurs spoke highly of the zone's efficient and convenient services during an exchange conference after the signing ceremony.
Wang Xiaobin, director of the zone's administrative committee, said they will improve services for local companies as part of becoming an innovation and entrepreneurship highland with outstanding ecological and business environment.
