The Hongying (Red Eagle) aerobatic team on Sept 18 was welcomed with flowers upon landing at Zhuhai Airshow Center in Jinwan District for the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), which opens Tuesday, Sept 28.

Twenty training instructors from the Aviation University of Air Force are in Zhuhai to perform aerobatic maneuvers with HAIG JL-8 trainer aircraft, which debuted at Airshow China in 2018 with thunderous roars and colorful smoke. The Red Eagle is one of three major flight performance team of the Chinese Air Force and was the first to arrive this year.
