Forty-nine aerobatic flight displays, highlighted by the People's Liberation Army Air Force, will take place over all six days of the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) at Zhuhai Airshow Center.

The action in the sky from Sept 28 to Oct 3 follows a schedule posted Sept 16 on the WeChat account of Airshow China. During the exhibition, the PLAAF will display new fighter jets and active main combat equipment in both flight show and static modes.

"Guard of Honor in Blue Sky," the Bayi (August 1st) Aerobatic Team of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force is returning from its base in Tianjin with new actions. From Changchun, Hongying (Red Eagle) Aerobatic Team, consisting of Aviation University of Air Force PLA training instructors, debuted at Airshow China in 2018 and is up for a repeat performance.

Aviation Industry Corp of China's Wing Loong II unmanned aerial vehicles will also take flight. The AVIC Wing Loong II was unveiled at Airshow China in 2016. The drone is 36 ft (11 m) long, has a wingspan of 67 ft (20.5 m), and can operate for up to 20 hours.

Other flights include CBJ business jets from Commercial Aircraft Corp of China. COMAC's CBJ business jet is one of a series of ARJ21 aircraft targeting the high-end market.

Aerobatic teams and their performance times are yet to be announced and the following schedule is subject to changes due to weather:

Eleven aerobatic stunts have slots from 9:45 am to 1:09 pm on opening day Sept 28. Professional Day Sept 29 has eight aerobatic flights booked from 11 am to 1:39 pm. Seven flights Sept 30 will occur from 11 am to 1:17 pm.

The first Public Day on Oct 1 will have 10 aerobatic maneuvers from 11 am to 2:07 pm. This is one more performance on both Public and Professional days than in 2018. The second Public Day on Oct 2 will see seven aerial displays from 11 am to 1:05 pm, and Oct 3 will have six shows from 11 am to 1:10 pm.
