COVID-19 precautions require that visitors transporting to the Sept 28-Oct 3 China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China) obtain a boarding code or reserve a parking space in advance, the Zhuhai Transport Bureau announced Sept 11.

Visitors must also wear face masks, cooperate with body temperature and travel history checks, and present electronic tickets, health codes, and negative nucleic acid test results before boarding an airshow bus. Information about seniors and children without cellphones should be presented by their companions.

Seven intra-city express lines will connect the Zhuhai Airshow Center in Jinwan District with Xiangzhou Bus Terminal, east entrance of Zhuhai Sports Center, Intercity MRT Zhuhai Station, Jiuzhou Port, Huafa Mall, Doumen Passenger Depot, and Hengqin Checkpoint. For a free ride, visitors must make the reservations with their exhibition tickets.

Intercity express lines will be available for Guangzhou, Foshan, Huizhou, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen visitors who must purchase the tickets in advance. For return trips, pick-up sites for express lines are at Parking Lot 6, which can be reached by shuttle buses from Parking Lot 1 adjacent to the Airshow Center.

Air travelers can take airport express lines that connect Zhuhai with more than 30 destinations including Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Yangjiang cities.

Traffic control areas near the Airshow Center are exclusive for express lines, chartered and shuttle buses. Private vehicles and taxies are forbidden. Motorists must make reservations for Parking Lot 8 west of MTU Maintenance Zhuhai and take shuttle buses between it and Parking Lot 2 near the Zhuhai Airshow Center.
