Zhuhai firms promote digital services at key trade expo
Among 10,000 others from China and worldwide, 17 Zhuhai enterprises are displaying their own digital technology, services, and content at the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) from Sept 2 to 7.
The highly influential exhibition is being held at Shougang Park and the China National Convention Center in Beijing. It is on a par in importance with the China Import & Export Fair (Canton Fair) and China International Import Expo.
Prominent in the Zhuhai group are Qianshan-headquartered household appliance giant Gree Electric Appliances and contact IC cards manufacturer Goldpac, satellite big data-aerospace-AI firm Orbita Aerospace Science & Technology of Tangjiawan, and Jusheng Technology, an integrated circuit design firm in Doumen.

They are showcasing "smart home," software outsourcing, big data, AI, and IC design services in the 100-sqm (1,076-sqft) Guangdong Pavilion. The exhibits are of information technology, cross-border e-commerce, industrial design, and games and animation.
Hengqin-based Traditional Chinese Medicine Science & Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation Between Guangdong & Macao Development is represented at a health service-themed exhibition at Shougang Park. The TCM park is promoting its establishment and overall planning, Greater Bay Area TCM Sci-Tech Innovation Platform, industry-university-research technology and product transformation, and construction of the national TCM Service Export Base.
CIFTIS is the world's first comprehensive exhibition in service trade and one of China's three major exhibition platforms serving the country's opening-up. Five summits and 193 forums, conferences, promotions, and negotiations are scheduled. This year's event, is held both online and on-site in accordance with COVID-19 control and safety measures.
More than 180 domestic and overseas guests from 153 countries and regions are participating in-depth talks concerning the high-quality development of service trade, opening-up and cooperation, new digital ecosystem, revitalization of global tourism, and other strategic and structural issues.
