Space being added for meals service at Airshow China
Construction of service facilities are well underway at the Zhuhai Airshow Center in Jinwan District with indoor and leisure catering areas being increased to 30,000 sqm (7 acres). Buffets, boxed meals, and Chinese and Western fast food will be served at prices comparable with those in downtown Zhuhai.
Along with other preparations for the 13th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), China Aerospace Science & Technology Corp's Airshow China leadership group hosted its second conference Aug 6 to report overall exhibition plans and projects. The event takes place next to Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport from Sept 28 to Oct 3.
China North Industries Group recently announced that it will bring an array of equipment to display in the static and dynamic exhibition areas, while Aviation Industry Corp of China is installing its booth.
So far, 400 companies have confirmed attendance. These include US Boeing, Honeywell International, and GE Aviation; French Airbus SE; Brazil's Embraer SA; and the UK's Rolls-Royce. Exhibitors from Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, and Canada are also signed up. The exhibition area is expected to cover 100,000 sqm (25 acres).
