First Medical Valley buildings topped off in Tangjiawan
Two buildings in the new Medical Industry Acceleration Base of Guangdong Medical Valley were topped off May 19 in the National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) and will be completed by the end of this year.
The base in Jinding Town will be managed with "intelligent internet" to produce medical equipment and high-end biomedicine, conduct R&D and quality control, do testing, and become ecological. It has floorage of 224,000 sqm (55 acres).
Guangdong Medical Valley has already attracted Guangdong Pulse Medical Technology and Zhuhai Silver Ark Biotechnology, hosted investment and financing matchmaking conferences, and sponsored medical industry summits. A dozen projects have shown interest in settling in the incubator.

Feng Qianrao of Guangdong Pulse Medical Technology says the company's R&D strength and industrialization will be elevated after locating in the high-standard industrial park. He specifically mentioned the unique advantages of the developer, Guangdong Medical Valley, in industrial platform, resources, and finance.
Full-life-cycle industrial services will be available for in-house enterprises through an international medical industry innovation center. These encompass financial, scientific and technological innovations, business development, and multilateral resource sharing.
In addition, housing, transport, and leisure shopping facilities will be provided for employees. There will be financial incentives, project support, and living necessities for leading talents, according to Xie Jiasheng, chief executive officer of Guangdong Medical Valley.
Pile foundation work for the second phase has been completed. Once the project comes into operation by the end of 2022, it will bring in and cultivate more than 260 enterprises and create up to 3,000 jobs.
