The museum of Sanzao native son Lin Wei-min, who was a pioneer of China's Labor Movement, reopened March 16, 2021 with a larger exhibition area, new exhibits, and more-sophisticated multimedia equipment.

As the first chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, Lin fought for national liberation and to defend worker rights and interests. He was born in 1887 in Yuyue Village, Sanzao Town, Jinwan District, and passed at age 40 in 1927.

Within the museum, the Early Workers Movement Historical Relics Showroom now displays more than 60 cultural relics in an exhibition area of 1,800 sqm (.44 acre). New exhibits include the magazine China published by the Communist Party of Germany, manuscripts of Xuan Qianhong – researcher of China's Labor Movement and professor at Sun Yet-sen University, and a special issue of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions'official newspaper Road of Workers.

Visitors experience enhanced viewing thanks to newly reproduced scenes, walls of pictures, circular-screen movies, and video projections.

The showroom has received 120,000 visitors and hosted 466 lectures on "red" culture in the new era since 2017. It has become an important venue for educating the public about the CPC's history, social science, and revolutionary spirit.

The facility is open to visitors for free from 9 am to 5:30 pm, except Mondays. Six interpretations are available daily for group reservations (15 or above) at 9:30, 10:30, and 11 am, and 3, 4, 5 pm through hotline 86-756-7761171 or email zhszwhzx@163.com.
