Zhuhai cultural-exchange endeavors given ministry aid
A documentary project and a cultural-creative design competition of Zhuhai have been selected by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism as two Key Projects for Cultural & Tourism Exchange between the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao in 2021.
For the documentaries, Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus will invite Hong Kong and Macao students to photograph the development and changes in the Chinese mainland. Documentaries then made with their mainland peers will be screened at universities, discussed in symposiums, and promoted on social media.
Meanwhile, cultural-creative projects and teams will be screened during the 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Cultural-Creative Design Competition of the Zhuhai Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism & Sports Bureau. Promising ones will be matched for capital through exhibitions, investigations, tutoring, and roadshows.
The Ministry of Culture & Tourism has been partially funding demonstrative key projects annually since 2013 to boost cultural and tourism exchanges between the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao. This year, 30 entries were chosen from 183 applicants to receive financial support.
