Doumen PCB plant features super-fast production lines
The high-end "intelligentized" Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industrial base of Zhuhai Founder PCB Development will be fully operational by the end of 2021 and is to have output value of 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) in five years.
Founder's 120,000-sqm (30-acre) F7 New Factory is being constructed in Doumen over three phases. The first became operational in December. Costing 1.68 billion yuan ($254 million), it introduces fully intelligent, informatized, and automated production to Fushan Industrial Park.

The plant manufactures products with application in the areas of communication equipment, data centers, vehicle networking, consumer electronics, industrial medical care, and communication terminals. Currently, 650 pieces of equipment are in use while a 80-m (88-yd) new intelligent assembly line will enter production by the end of February.
With optimized production, the new assembly line can produce more than 200,000 square feet of panels per month -- three times faster than the company's similar production lines. Per capita annual output value of the plant is expected to exceed 2 million yuan ($310,000), according to Tan Song, director of the F7 New Factory project acceptance center.
The F7 New Factory will contribute to Fushan Industrial Park in fostering a 100-billion-yuan ($15.5-billion) PCB industry cluster, said Zhang Weihua, vice president of Zhuhai Founder PCB Development. Founded in 1986, Founder produces multilayer PCBs and high-tech electronics and communication products for Huawei, ZTE, and Ericsson.
