Haibin, Bailiandong, and Yeli are wonderlands abloom
Haibin, Bailiandong (White Lotus Cave), and Yeli Island parks have are covered with 650,000 seasonal flowers and New Year installations for Spring Festival, according to Zhuhai Yuehua Landscaping Construction Management.
Visitors will encounter a sea of 100,000 tulips surrounding a 10-m (33-ft-high) sailboat-shaped installation at the Lovers Avenue entrance of Haibin Park. They will come into full blossom for a short time during the Feb 11-17 holiday. The floral sea takes the shape of a giant tulip if seen from above.

Covering 1,200 sqm (.3 acre), the 60,000 lakeside papaver rhoeas (corn poppy) were planted last November and will flower well into early summer. In addition, the park's rapeseed, foxgloves (digitalis purperea), snapdragons (antirrhinum majus), New Guinea impatien, wax begonias, pansies, marguerite daisies, and spider flowers are in season.
Yeli Island Park in Old Xiangzhou is brightened with fields of rapeseed flowers, 50,000 morning glory, rainbow pinks, Chinese flowering crabapples, and garden balsam.
And Bailiandong Park in Jida is ready to please visitors with auspicious festive installations, newly added fountains, and blooming digitalis, which are mostly concentrated in the lakeside plumeria rubra (Frangipani) bush.
