Tencent center begins to help Zhuhai's digital economy
China's first Tencent Start Innovation Center opened Dec 9 to provide technical and capital support and matchmaking opportunities for enterprises involved with AI, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The innovation and entrepreneurship center is designed to help Zhuhai realize scaled development of artificial intelligence (AI) and new-generation information technology industries. It is located at Cloud Creek Hub on the Meijie-Lvyou intersection opposite Aoyuan Plaza in Qianshan.

The Exhibition Hall is showing cutting-edge Tencent science and technology regarding achievements in WeCity, "smart" government affairs, education, culture-tourism, and medical treatment, and AI interaction, as well as the future layout of industrial internet. The entire facility covers more than 1,000 sqm (.25 acres) in its first phase.
Agreements to locate there were signed Tuesday by Extreme Vision, Huotong Interactive Network Science & Technology, Chenqu Science & Technology, and Chengmu Science & Technology.
Internet Plus cooperation between Zhuhai and Tencent began in 2017. Two years later, the Chinese tech giant signed agreements for deepened cooperation with the Zhuhai City and Xiangzhou District governments. Tencent will next apply resources and sci-tech innovations for Zhuhai to become a model for high-quality industry, science and technology, and culture on the coastal economic belt.
