Nansha-Zhuhai MRT will make three Xiangzhou stops
The Nansha-Zhuhai (Zhongshan) Intercity MRT will make stops at Zhuhai North, Zhuhai, and new Tangjiawan stations, all in Xiangzhou District, according to the Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Center website.
The south-north rail line, previously known as the extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 18, will run 79 km (49 miles) from Guangzhou's Nansha District to Zhongshan and Zhuhai.

With planning underway, construction will begin in 2022 at a cost of 48.6 billion yuan ($7 billion), announced the Zhuhai Natural Resources Bureau in September.
In addition to the Nansha-Zhuhai (Zhongshan) rail line, two high-speed railways and four other intercity MRTs are designated to run through Zhuhai in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Intercity MRT Construction Plan.
The Zhuhai-Jiangmen section of the Zhuhai-Zhaoqing high-speed railway will come under construction in 2022. Preliminary research is being done on the Guangzhou-Zhuhai (Macao) high-speed railway before construction begins in 2021.
The Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT has been in service since 2011. The Gongbei-Chimelong section of Zhuhai Airport Urban Rail Transit opened in August, while the Hengqin-Airport section is under construction. The Shenzhen-Zhuhai and Guangzhou-Foshan-Jiangmen-Zhuhai intercity MRTs are currently undergoing preliminary research.
