Buses

Routes run throughout urban and rural Zhuhai areas. The fare for rides on citywide buses with air conditioning is 1 yuan (14 cents). Self-service payment is by depositing coins, swiping a card, or scanning WeChat Pay or Alipay QR codes.

Modern tram

The Modern Tram Line 1 runs from 7 am to 8:35 pm daily between Shuiyongkeng (Sea & Sky Park) at the intersection of Meihua Road and Central Lovers Avenue and Shangchong Xiaozhen in New Xiangzhou. There are 12 stops along Meihua Road. The fare is 1 yuan. Pay by swiping a card, or scanning WeChat Pay or Alipay QR codes.

Taxi

Taxies in Zhuhai service either the main urban area, Doumen and Jinwan districts, or Hengqin New Area. The vehicles are usually Hyundai, Peugeot, Passat, or Englon makes. The fare is clearly metered.

Public bicycles

Lease service is available in central urban areas of Xiangzhou, Jida, Gongbei, and New Xiangzhou and in the Hengqin Free Trade Zone. Tourists may go through the formalities of bicycle leasing at Zhuhai Urban Construction City Bike Co by presenting their ID card and an IC debit card issued by any domestic bank.

Intercity MRT & trains

The Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity MRT connects Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Zhuhai. It takes about 1 hour to go between Guangzhou South Station and Zhuhai Station. The train is operated by CRH and the electrified railway is double-tracked for passenger transportation. 

Zhuhai travelers can also access Meizhou, Zhanjiang, and Zhaoqing cities in Guangdong Province as well as other domestic destinations including Beijing, Zhengzhou, Kunming, Guilin, and Wuhan via direct bullet trains.
