Longyu constructs impressive plant in Fushan PCB park
The Zhuhai Longyu Science & Technology plant for high-end copper-clad plates (CCL), glass-fiber fabrics, and printed circuit board (PCB) lamination is being constructed at Fushan Industrial Park in Doumen District.
Covering 75,000 sqm (19 acres), the complex will cost 1 billion yuan ($150 million) and have 186,000 sqm (46 acres) of floor area. It is expected to produce 2 million sqm (494 acres) of circuit boards and 5 million CCLs annually, while processing 3 million sqm (741 acres) of multi-layer boards (MLB).

Zhuhai Longyu is a subsidiary of Meizhou-based Longyu Electronics, a national hi-tech enterprise specializing in CCL and circuit board inner layer production, lamination, and processing. It specializes in high-end FR-4 epoxy resin glass-fiber fabrics, CCLs, prepregs, and high-end circuit boards.
Longyu products have earned American Underwriter Laboratories (UL), ISO 9001, IS0 14001, and IATF 16949 certifications. They are widely used in automobiles, computers, communication equipment, household appliances, and high-end electronic products.
The enterprise has a R&D, sales, and production team; plants in Shenzhen and Meizhou, and a management system covering marketing, engineering design, processing, manufacture, testing, and after-sales services. It is a Top 100 Chinese PCB Enterprise, Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner, and Outstanding Chinese Brand Enterprise.
Fushan Industrial Park has been attracting major PCB projects to its 100-billion-yuan ($15-billion) PCB industrial cluster. For instance, Zhuhai Founder High-End Communications Intelligence, Kinwong Electronic (Zhuhai), Shenzhen Sunshine Global Circuits, Mectek Manufacturing (Zhuhai), Huizhou China Eagle Electronic Technology, and Zhuhai Sun & Lynn Circuits are among more than 30 electronic circuit producers in the park.
