Since its inception in 2010, the international food festival has been held 10 times at Macao Fisherman's Wharf around October. This is the first Hengqin appearance for the exchange and exploration of foods, cooking skills, and cultures, said Chen Meiyi, general manager of the Portuguese-style Legend Ponto Square. The square is on East Huandao Road across from Hengqin Checkpoint.
Accompanying the culinary delicacies, the 2nd Hengqin Jazz Week will enliven not only Legend Ponto Square, but also Central Street, Sumlodol Hengqin Camping Town, Hengqin Music Park, and Ferry Terminal Rest Station with 35 pop, fusion, and Latin jazz shows Oct 1 to 7.
Food festival organizers Macao Commercial Post International Media Group and Legend Ponto Square are sponsored by WePark (Hengqin) Development and guided by the Hengqin Social Affairs Bureau.
