Ferries between Wanzai and Macao back in service
Ferry service between Wanzai Checkpoint and Macao's Inner Harbor Terminal (Yuet Tung Pier) resumed Aug 20 after a five-month hiatus due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
For now, passengers must purchase tickets on site and show a negative nucleic acid test result issued within seven days prior to departure. And they go through customs clearance between 7 am and 10 pm if they carry a green Guangdong health QR code.

Ferry services currently run every hour. The frequency will be increased to 30 minutes Sept 3, and 15 minutes when the epidemic situation allows, according to a public notice of the Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce.
Wanzai Checkpoint, on South Nanwan Road adjacent to the Wanzai Tourist Terminal, is a significant gateway between Zhuhai and Macao. It is only five minutes from Macao Inner Harbor Terminal by ferry, and another 10-minute walk to the city center.
In preparation for the resumption, authorities have a contingency plan for the COVID-19 pandemic. As precautions, 1-m (3-ft) lines have been drawn in the waiting areas on both sides to guarantee a safe social distance between passengers, and customs inspection channels have additional signals posted.
