Zhuhai Dongjiang Environmental Science & Technology is building the Zhuhai Green Industry Service Center at a cost of 450 million yuan ($64 million). The 144-mu (9.6-hectare, 23.7-acre) plant is a key provincial project designed to annually process 245,500 tons of 23 kinds of hazardous waste. Involved in the process are incineration, physicochemical treatment, and resource utilization.
An investment agreement was signed between parent company Dongjiang Environmental and the Fushan Industrial Park Administrative Committee in June 2018, and the project received a favorable environmental impact report in April 2019.
