Zhuhai Eeasy Technology is now rated by US magazine EE (Electronic Engineering) Times as one of the most innovative startups in the global electronics and semiconductor industry that are worth keeping an eye on.

EE Times has, since 2004, curated the prestigious Silicon 60 annual list of startups worth watching. The list was expanded into the Silicon 100 in 2020 due to an unusual flurry of new semiconductor startups founded in the past few years. The top 100 companies are all believed to have leading technical capability and wide-reaching market influence, among which are eight Chinese companies including Xintianxi (XTX) Technology, Bitmain, and Cambricon.

Eeasy Technology was founded in the Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan) in July 2016 as a systems solutions provider focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) machine vision algorithms and system-on-chip (SoC) design.

With offices in Beijing and Shenzhen, the company has more than 100 employees including a core team with SoC chip mass production experience and seasoned R&D talents. It entered Zhuhai's authoritative list for "future unicorns still in seed stage" in 2018.

Eeasy developed in-house its own AI SoC for edge computing terminal devices. This offers a one-package solution integrating algorithms, hardware, and software to solve the ubiquitous difficulties of applying AI technology in the electronics and semiconductor industry. The chip achieved scaled production in intelligent security, automotive electronics, and the Internet of Things (IoT) last year and reached a market scale of more than 1 trillion yuan ($143 billion).

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the enterprise has produced the SV806/810 series of chips that identify mask-covered faces and measure body temperature with infrared light. The chips were used in the resumption of domestic businesses and school classes.
