Taiwan Farmers Venture Park
Taiwan Farmers Venture Park in Jinwan District was founded in 2008 as the first of its kind in Guangdong Province. Named a National Leisure Agriculture & Rural Tourism demonstration site in 2015, it is considered a prime choice for leisure, conferences, getaways, and agricultural experiences.
The park covers 45,000 mu (7,413 acres) southeast of Pingsha Town and northeast of Gaolan Port. It produces 56 Taiwan tropical fruits including wax apples, pineapples, ziziphus mauritiana (Chinese dates), pitaya (dragon fruit), fragrant lemons, and carambola (star fruit), of which 22 are more extensively planted.
Agricultural sightseeing takes place at Taiwan Famous Quality Fruit & Vegetable Picking Base, Taiwan Fragrant Water Lily Corridor, seven Agricultural Science Popularization Education Bases, Horticultural Crop Breeding Demonstration Base, and Happy Ranch, Seed industry Exposition Park. Taiwan Orchid, Taiwan-Themed Characteristic Agricultural Products, Cutting-Edge Agricultural Science & Technology, and Modern Fishery exhibition halls are also open to the public.
In addition, Zhuhai Agricultural Park in the park's core area began being landscaped in 2020 to further promote leisure tourism by way of agricultural sightseeing, popular science, DIY-picking, scientific research, shopping, and entertainment.
