The Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center (CEC) is an impressive modern architectural complex in the Shizimen Central Business District of Hengqin New Area on the South China Sea. Facing Macao across the convergence of "Two Rivers and Four Riversides," the center is a 10 minute-drive from the Hengqin Checkpoint to Macao and easily accessible to Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

Covering 269,000 sq m (66 acres), its first phase was put into trial operation in October 2014. The Convention Center, with an aboveground floor area of 34,000 sq m (8 acres), comprises a 4,500-sq-m (5,382-sq-yd) column-free banquet hall, 2,000-sq-m (2,392-sq-yd) multi-functional hall, 45 well-equipped meeting rooms of adjustable sizes, and 4,000-sq-m (4,784-sq-yd) specialized kitchen. It is capable of catering to more than 10,000 guests.

In addition, the Exhibition Center, with aboveground floorage of 60,000 sq m (15 acres) and net exhibition area of 33,000 sq m (8 acres), has six variable indoor display halls. The roof of Halls 1-4 can bear a load of up to 10 tons, while its spacious pillar-free structure, and that of Halls 5-6, are easily adapted to myriad exhibitions and activities.

The facility has already hosted the largest printing supplies exhibition in the world, RemaxAsia Expo; Walmart Annual Conference in China; and 13th Congress of the Chinese Society of Critical Care Medicine. 

As a comprehensive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) venue, the CEC integrates hotel, Grade-A office building, theater, concert hall, support commercial facilities, and the most-elaborate base for large-scale international conventions and exhibitions in South China. The CEC is under international management by a team from the esteemed China National Convention Center (CNCC).    

Huafa & CPAA Grand Theater in the center is the first cinema of international standards in Zhuhai, meeting the demands of classic opera, stage plays, musical performances, Chinese opera, and variety shows. The concert hall is equipped with comprehensive facilities suitable for large and medium-sized symphony orchestras and choruses, as well as classical chamber music performances.  

Zhuhai Huafa Sheraton, St. Regis Zhuhai, and Zhuhai Huafa Place are located within the center itself.
