Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and Penguin Hotel in Hengqin New Area will reopen to the public from 10 am to 7 pm daily beginning Thursday, April 30. Visitor volume during the International Workers holiday and beyond at the former theme park is capped at 30 percent of maximum capacity.

Visitors should purchase tickets and register online, wear protective masks, carry valid identity documents, be ready to present a health QR code, accept  body temperature checks and keep a safe distance from others in queues.

The indoor venues Whale Shark and Beluga Whale aquariums, Penguin and Polar Bear halls, and Deep-Sea Odyssey will remain off limits until further notice and performances are not scheduled at the Beluga and 5D Castle theaters.
