Authorities keep guard up against any more infection
There had been 103 COVID-19 confirmed cases, one death, and 99 recovered patients released from hospital reported in Zhuhai as of April 11. All eight asymptomatic cases have been cleared and three recent arrivals from abroad are receiving treatment.
The 5th Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University has pulled together municipal, provincial, and top-level experts as well as other medical resources for timely, scientific, and efficient treatment that combines traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Discharged patients still must undergo an additional 14-day medical observation.

The Zhuhai Center for Disease Control & Prevention warned of the risk of a domestic resurgence with the return of migrant workers from Hubei Province and imported infections arising from the rapid global spread of the infection.
Zhuhai has taken various anti-epidemic measures and enclosed management regarding travelers who arrive in the city via local, Guangzhou/Shenzhen, and out-of-province checkpoints, according to an official of the Zhuhai Bureau of Commerce.
Out of humanitarian concern, the elderly, minors, pregnant women, and those with underlying diseases are allowed to undergo nucleic acid tests and home-based instead of centralized medical observation.
A Zhuhai Health Bureau professional stressed that the fight against COVID-19 has not come to an end. Locals are advised to wear masks in public places and avoid gatherings. Those arriving from Hubei or abroad should provide health information and accept nucleic acid tests.
