Occupying 1.59 million sq m (393 acres), the industrial park will cost 15 billion yuan ($2.1 billion). The floor area of 1.96 million sq m (484 acres) is designed for smart factories, support facilities, employee dormitories, canteens, and an activity center.

Underscored are automatic production equipment, intelligent logistics, and a green design. The buildings will use Gree’s photovoltaic (PV) direct-driven variable-frequency central air conditioners to conserve energy and reduce emissions. The air conditioners utilize PV power generation and vastly reduce electricity costs.
Moreover, the industrial park is located near Zhuhai West Railway Station in Nanshui Town, Zhuhai Port, Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport, and Gaolan Port Expressway. Products can be transported south through Zhuhai Port, north to Zhongshan and Guangzhou ports by rail, and east to Hong Kong and Macao ports across the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
Zhuhai Party Secretary Guo Yonghang, Mayor Yao Yisheng, and Gree Chairman Dong Mingzhu attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
