Health agency rates Zhuhai as low-risk COVID-19 area
The three Zhuhai districts of Xiangzhou, Jinwan, and Doumen have been rated low-risk areas for corona virus disease (COVID-19), according to the Health Commission of Guangdong Province.
Effective measures in epidemic prevention and control are cited for there being zero indigenous COVID-19 infections reported for 37 consecutive days as of Wednesday. Three imported cases meanwhile had been confirmed since March 19.
Throughout Guangdong, there are no high-risk areas reported for COVID-19, and Foshan's Chancheng District is currently rated as medium risk.
Other Guangdong areas with low risk are Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou Shaoguan, Heyuan, Meizhou, Huizhou, Shanwei, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Yangjiang, Zhanjiang, Maoming, Zhaoqing, Qingyuan, Chaozhou, Jieyang, and Yunfu cities, and Foshan's Nanhai, Shunde, Gaoming, and Sanshui districts.
