Zhuhai hospitals sent 15 medical staff on Feb 9 to aid in the battle against novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) in Hubei Province with feelings of deep respect and boundless love.
The team consists of five frontline clinicians of internal, digestive, and respiratory medicine units and 10 mainstay nurses. The seven men and eight women are from Zhuhai's People's (Renmin) Hospital, 5th Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Women's & Children's Hospital, Guangdong TCM Hospital, and Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese & Western Medicine (2nd People's Hospital).

Zhuhai Party Secretary Guo Yonghang urged the health workers to follow the instructions of local governments and hospitals, enhance cooperation with other medical teams, and ensure their own health in the midst of diligent work. The Zhuhai government, in return, he said, will fully support and care for their families.
Yang Jianhao, head of the medical team, pledged the contingent's determination to provide frontline epidemic prevention and control, and then to come back safely.
Zhuhai Mayor Yao Yisheng, Wu Shi, secretary-general of the CPC Zhuhai Municipal Committee, and Deputy Mayor Yan Wu also wished them farewell.
