The 2019 Guangdong (Zhuhai) Seed Expo will showcase thousands of new and high-quality species, as well as the latest scientific research achievements and fine breeding methods, at Taiwan Farmers Venture Park.

The exhibition lasts from year end to post-Spring Festival at each of several zones on the grounds at Pingdong Avenue in Pingsha Town, Gaolan Port Economic Zone.

The 70-mu (4.7-hectare, 11.5-acre) Plantation Zone will exhibit more than 600 kinds of new and high-quality fruits and vegetables including cherry tomatoes, cabbages, cauliflowers, Chinese five-color peppers, and 70 new varieties of fresh corn.

The Taiwan Multi-Color Fruit & Vegetable Exhibition Zone will feature hundreds of species such as cherry tomatoes and multi-color peppers. On offer are healthy, high-yield, virus-free, and disease-resistant seedlings that rely on agricultural technologies of grafting and tissue culture.

Five Greenhouse Exhibition Halls will display high-efficiency cultivation modes and scientific research achievements of the seed industry.

The Aquaculture Exhibition Zone will showcase more than 70 kinds of characterized aquatic species, as well as the new technology and advanced experience of Zhuhai's aquaculture industry.

Children may enjoy the Alpaca (Vicugna pacos) Breeding Zone. Three alpacas introduced from New Zealand a few years ago have now expanded into a family of seven.
