The sole recipient of both the 2019 Chinese Universal Printer Industry Development Achievement Award and the China Computer Industry Development Achievement Award·Corporate Achievement Gold Award is Ninestar Corp of Zhuhai.

The awards were recently granted by the China Computer Industry Association in Changsha, Hunan Province. Ninestar was cited for having broken the technical monopoly of transnational enterprises that has been imposed on China for over three decades. The Zhuhai company developed the first domestic laser printer with independent core technology and realized industrialization. China was the fourth country to do so after the USA, Japan, and South Korea.

Ninestar has a mature grasp of technology related to laser printer imaging, machinery, hardware, software, embedded software, and core components based on 20 year of development. Its products make a full spectrum of A3, A4, black and white, color, single-function and multifunction features.

Ninestar Laser Printer Hi-Tech Equipment & Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park is currently being developed in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone. It covers 90 hectares (222 acres) and is expected to produce 4 million laser printers yearly after the first phase is completed in 2021.
