Zhuhai residents now can buy a "one-ticket pass" online to take them from the city center to 14 Hong Kong destinations via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.

Zhuhai Public Transport Group and Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings, the latter runs the bridge shuttle bus service, launched the pass last month. It is usable on five bus routes from the central urban area of Zhuhai to HZMB Zhuhai Port without additional fares. The online ticket sales channel opened on June 20.

The "one-ticket pass" is available via the WeChat accounts: zhuhaibus 珠海公交巴士 and gh_6d1ac3dd9271 港珠澳大桥直通车网.

Purchase interface

Zhuhai passengers can first arrive at the Boundary Crossing Hub of HZMB Zhuhai Port by taking Buses 3, 12, 23, 25, or L1. They then can obtain the Through Bus ticket at the Gongbei special-line ticket office at Station 3 using their order number, which is sent by text. After customs clearance, Cross-Boundary Coaches will take them over the bridge to Hong Kong.

Current destinations are: Harbour City of Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙咀海港城), Shanghai Street Prince Edward Station (太子上海街), Times Square of Causeway Bay (铜锣湾时代广场), Elements Mall, Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙咀圆方), China Hong Kong City (尖沙咀中港城), Hong Kong Disneyland (香港迪士尼乐园), Shun Tak Centre (上环信德中心), Hong Kong Ocean Park (香港海洋公园), Tsuen Wan Luk Yeung Sun Chuen (荃湾绿杨新村), New Town Plaza of Sha Tin (沙田新城市广场), Tai Wai station (大围), Wong Tai Sin station (黄大仙), East Point City, Tseung Kwan O (将军澳东港城), and Horse Shoe Lane, Kwun Tong, Kowloon (九龙观塘马蹄径).

The one-way trip from HZMB Zhuhai Port to Hong Kong costs between 110 yuan ($16) and 130 yuan ($19).

Zhuhai buses run from 6 am to midnight while Kwoon Chung buses from HZMB Zhuhai Port to Hong Kong urban areas are available between 7:50 am and 10:50 pm. The return trip from Hong Kong to the HZMB Zhuhai Port is taken between 7:30 am and 10:30 pm.

During trial operation, those who purchase tickets via the WeChat account (ID: zhuhaibus) for the first time will be eligible for five free rides on any urban bus route within Zhuhai. The five QR codes generated automatically on the phone can be scanned aboard the bus.
