Service center starts promoting Macao diversification
The first phase of Shizimen Central Business District Service Center was inaugurated at Zhuhai Tower on May 10 to promote the moderate economic diversification of Macao amid deepening Zhuhai-Macao cooperation.
On offer are international office spaces and public service platforms covering more than 50,000 sq m (12 acres), preferential policies, and all-around services for 300 to 500 Macao enterprises.
The first 10 enterprises and institutions signed up for settlement during the inauguration. They include Macao-based Huarchi Global Group Holdings, DC Systems Digital Communications, Paragon Technology, APM Terminals, Vincent Technology Development, Phoenix Skyscape Economic & Cultural & Creative Association, and Macao International Brand Enterprise Commercial Association.

These enterprises engage in biomedicine, hi-tech, electronics and information, artificial intelligence, cross-border trade, tourism, convention and exhibition, cultural-creative, and construction engineering businesses. Many are preparing for initial public offerings.
The first phase is to include Macao Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship and Internship & Exchange zones. More follow-up projects will be accommodated in the Hengqin International Financial Center (IFC Tower), Hengqin Finance Industrial Service Base, Zhuhai-Macao International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Harbor, Zhuhai-Macao Industrial Diversified Development Base, and Zhuhai-Macao Comprehensive Livelihood Community.
