The expo is sponsored by the China Aquatic Products Processing & Marketing Alliance and China Great Wall International Exhibition Co with approval of the ministries of Agriculture and Commerce. Its position as the sole aquaculture-themed expo in the Asia-Pacific region has been enhanced since its initiation in 2015 with exhibits now covering the entire industry chain of aquaculture from feed and seed to machinery and products.
Held concurrently will be China's top aquaculture conference, the Global Aquaculture Summit (GAS) 2019, which is as old as the expo. Meanwhile, the 11th China International Shrimp Industry Development Forum will encompass Main Forum: Eco Trends of Shrimp Aquaculture and explore Production & Trade Trends of International Shrimp Industry.
